Mobility Roadshow closes after 34 years of events

We are sad to hear about the closure of one of the longest standing mobility industry events, Mobility Roadshow.
In a statement, Mobility Roadshow announced that it would be closing its doors, after 34 years and would no longer be putting on their annual event. The event has been run since 1998 by the charity Mobility Choice which has taken the decision to end the event due to declining numbers of interest and more affordable alternative options.

We have attended the Mobility Roadshow and supported our Rascal Dealers for many years and appreciate the platform it gave us to directly interact with our customers and allow them to test our products in a convenient location. Considerations always went above and beyond by the organisers to find locations which were accessible to everyone from everywhere – a reason why we think it was so successful for so long.

Moving forward, Mobility Choice will be working with Mobility Driving to offer opportunities for disabled people to learn to drive or return to driving.

Other consumer events will be taking place in 2018, check out the One Big Day Event for more information, in association with Motability.

What our customers say...

  • I am writing to ‘thank you’ for your prompt and efficient service, also for your help in getting the right part and patience with myself.
My customer, Mrs S was very grateful at how quick her scooter was back to her, so her husband could use for urgent upcoming appointment.
So thank you from us both for the 100% service.

  • I found the Engineer Training course to be very practical, to the point, and professionally presented. Once again Electric Mobility has delivered the goods above expectations!

This was backed up by the well put together course materials and the very comfortable and well-appointed venue.
I would be grateful if you could pass on my thoughts to all concerned.
    Well done!
